National Neurodiversity Training has partnered with Kwalee, the UK-founded video game developer and publisher with over 1.5 billion downloads, to deliver neurodiversity training for 45 managers in both the UK and India during October 2026. The programme combines in-person training with live online learning, ensuring managers in both countries develop shared confidence, language, and skills to support neurodivergent colleagues.
The investment comes as Kwalee continues to develop its approach to supporting a diverse workforce following its return to a five-day office week in October 2025. Since the move, more employees have shared that they are neurodivergent, often in relation to their experience of the office environment.
Around one in five people are estimated to be neurodivergent, with prevalence often higher in creative and technical sectors such as the games industry. Recognising this, Kwalee has chosen to equip its managers with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively to conversations about neurodivergence and workplace support.
Through the programme, National Neurodiversity Training will help managers:
• Understand how neurodivergence shows up at work
• Respond confidently when an employee shares that they are neurodivergent • Understand and implement appropriate workplace adjustments and support • Navigate their responsibilities as managers
• Create working environments where neurodivergent employees can thrive and feel psychologically safe
The blended delivery model has been designed to provide a consistent learning experience across both the UK and India while allowing managers to explore practical, real-world workplace scenarios.
Kwalee has grown into a global game's enterprise with more than 400 employees across the UK and India and 30 million active monthly players.
As the company has continued to grow, its leaders have recognised the importance of ensuring managers have the confidence and capability to support a neurodiverse workforce. Rather than waiting for challenges to arise, the organisation is giving managers the tools they need to handle conversations well, make informed decisions, and provide effective support wherever their teams are based.
Julia Beaucliffe, HR Advisor and Executive Assistant at Kwalee, said:
"Having attended a school that specialised in dyslexia and dyspraxia, neurodiversity is a subject that is both deeply personal to me and central to my values. Excellent support made a world of difference in my own development, and we want to ensure our business offers that same high-level, tailored support to every employee.
Partnering with the National Neurodiversity Training for specialised neurodiversity training is a crucial step in fulfilling that promise. In a tech-focused industry where neurodivergent talent thrives, creating a psychologically safe workplace is essential, not only for our culture, but for our team’s overall health and well-being."
Iveta Pudilova, Founder and CEO at National Neurodiversity Training, said:
"The games and tech industry attracts people with a huge range of ways of thinking, problem-solving and creating. Many neurodivergent people bring strengths that are highly valued in game development, from creativity and innovation through to deep focus and technical expertise.
When managers understand how to respond to disclosure and support different ways of working, they create the conditions for people to do their best work. We're delighted to be working with Kwalee as it invests in the leadership capability needed to support that."
